Usyk VS Fury fight – Press conference and weigh-in
At the press conference, both Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk expressed their confidence in victory. Although both of them had a rather restrained and respectful position towards their opponent. Fury, in a manner uncharacteristic of him, wished both of them to be with their family after the fight. Both thanked God and the organizers for where fate had led them and for the opportunity they had today.

Duel of glances
After the press conference, a duel of glances was supposed to take place, but then Fury remembered who he was, and either as a sign of disrespect, or simply to annoy Usyk, he never looked at him, all the time he stood sideways to his opponent and showed off for the camera. Usyk calmly performed the required ceremony, not paying attention to the attempts of arrogance from the Gypsy King.
Weighing
Less than 24 hours before the fight, we were able to see live the form and mental state of each of the fighters.
Usyk’s perfomance
Usyk came out to the fiery track, confident, but relaxed and cheerful, at the end of his procession he even began to flirt with the audience, throwing up his hands to the beat of the music, calling on everyone to join his emotional state. The Ukrainian champion weighed in at 233 1/2 pounds (105 kg). The athlete looked fit and confident.
Fury’s perfomance
Fury appeared in public with a bare torso, showing off a significantly reduced figure, throwing out his arms a little to show his technique, he quickly walked towards the stage. His gait was confident and purposeful, and after flirting with the crowd a little, he quickly reached the weighing area. Fury weighed in at 262 pounds (119 kg), which is more than the experts predicted, but we must admit that visually he looks much better than in the fight with Ngannou.
Second Duel of glances after weigh-in
Here the Gypsy King already paid a little attention to his opponent, resting their foreheads and chatting with Usyk, the fighters exchanged a couple of remarks that could not be heard due to the lack of microphones, thereby further fueling our interest in the battle.
Well, there are less than 24 hours left until the main event in the boxing world. We haven’t seen such a confrontation in the world since the fight between Lenox Lewis and Evander Holyfield back in 1999, 25 years have passed… It’s difficult to say who will win this time in a fight of 2 champions with 0 losses on the line, but what can be said for sure today – this fight will definitely go down in the world history of boxing!
