Tyson Fury: “For the first time in my life, I am serious”

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usky attended the official arrival ceremony in Riyadh before their rematch. Before the Usyk – Fury 2 match, the British boxer made his public appearance first, as he was the main contender for the Usyk’s belts.

Tyson Fury appeared to be a man of few words after his 10-second open workout that took place on Wednesday.  He promised Oleksandr Usyk “a lot of pain” on Saturday.

Fury has never been more ready for a fight

“Tyson Fury along with myself is ready at this moment. He always played around and had a silly attitude, but he’s shown a different side. He’s just ready, 100 percent ready.”, said Fury’s coach Javan Steward.

He has also revealed Fury’s corner for the fight. SugarHill Steward confirmed that he, Andy Lee, and a cutman will be in attendance. John will not be returning to the corner. Fury’s first clash with Usyk had been criticized a lot because of the chaotic nature in which his father and other coaches gave him instructions all at once.

A lot of sparring has been done

Fury’s first training camp before the fight against Usyk didn’t go according to plan. He didn’t have enough sparring sessions due to a massive cut on the eye. This became the reason for insufficient preparation for the bout and the subsequent defeat. The Gupsy King was not used to losing, and many fans were curious about how he’d react. Speaking to Sky Sports upon his arrival in Saudi Arabia, he assured he did a “lot of sparring” and is absolutely serious in his intention to win.

Tomorrow is the day when everything will be resolved.
